something to ponder on.....
Sometimes, it really makes us wonder why the
people we like only as friends are the ones who
show interest in us and those we like treat us only
as friends.
Why can't we just like somebody who will also feel
the same way for us? it doesn't always happen
that way and that is the reason why people who
fall in love get hurt.
why we allow ourselves to get emotionally
attached to a person and they begin to expect that
they will be treated differently from the others.
But more often than not, we are attracted to a
person who probably wants to have us only as a
friend, and nothing more.
There's nothing wrong with this, but it is
sometimes
hard to interpret the meaning of one's actions.
The problem lies with the fact that we have special
feelings for that person, and most of the time we
put so much meaning in the way they treats us,
when the truth is we are just friends.
We go one step ahead of the real relationship,
and
begin to expect something to come out.
Then, we disappoint ourselves when we realize
that
there were no special feelings all along.
**** syet, so ito ba ang explanation sa lahat ng mga bagaybagay sa aking buhay?hmm... oo nga nmn.... aminin man natin o hindi ganito ang nararamdaman natin kapag may crush tayo. (and I am guilty of committing that) we usually expect and hope that the people we like will also like us back so we tend to do things that we think will make our crushes take a second look at us. we tend to be nicer to them, give everything they need, cater to their every whim, make our presence known by always being present (lalo na pag araw-araw mng pinupuntahan ang bahay nya...ehem). sobrang daming effort... but in the end you will stop...look around and think...is it really worth the effort? despite everything you've done, has he done anything to appreciate you.... to make you feel that what you are doing is smething he treasures and values....
i have been blinded many times by this glittering notions... and sometimes doing the same things over and over again without ahieving any positve input could become a senseless endeavour ...and feeling the same pain over and over again could make you ....numb...emotionless....
i do not say that i am at that stage...i sure do hope not...but if a am to be REALLY honest, i could say that i am nearing that phase. but i don't wanna be numb. i have so much love to give. i have so much spirit me. i have more to live for. i have lots of things i have yet to experience.i am young.
i cannot let my emotions rule me.
